Week 79 - Merry Christmas!

Elder Heimuli's last Christmas in the mission was a busy one.  He did not bother to send a weekly letter since he was going to talk to us on Sunday, December 25th.  First, he skyped so he could see the cutest grandbabies in the world, Hendrix and Kiegan.  They both sat on the chair and stared at Uncle Houston for a minute, then they were done.  Ha!

He talked about the Mission Christmas Conference -- a busy event that had the APs hopping! They organized the evening so that every missionary had a Christmas package to open at the event (that's A LOT of packages!).  

Then he and Elder Pau'u danced with Santa during the program.  

On top of all that, he was the photographer for their mission Facebook page, and was also in charge of getting the entire mission seated/stood for the Indiana Indianapolis Mission Christmas 2016 photo -- another huge feat.

Next he called his sister and bro-in-law in Missouri, and then called back to talk to Dad and Mom. Which made Christmas complete for the Heimulis!  Only 5 months left!!
